Getting to Koh Phangan Via Thong Sala Pier
The Thong Sala Pier is the most important pier on Koh Phangan, and it is also the entrance to the island via which visitors enter the island. Docking here is a significant number of ferries that are coming from the mainland as well as the islands that are located in close proximity.
Taxis, songthaews (also known as shared trucks), and rental services are some of the modes of transportation that are available to you after you arrive at Thong Sala Pier. These modes of transportation will allow you to go to various parts of the island.
