Normal swimming is best suited during high tides. The shallow waters are ideal for young children, and you can walk out through the shallows to deeper waters. High tides are from September to March. Like all the other beaches on the west coast of Koh Phangan, there are coral reefs here, making Srithanu Beach ideal for snorkeling. Kayak rentals are also available from some of the resorts.
